Right now there are people swimming on the beach right outside my door and I can see them dancing in the water outside my window (the small one by my desk that I love so much) and here I am sussing up my resume and planning my route of action for tomorrow’s ‘Diana needs an second job’ day. This hurts much more than all the other times that I had to get a second job… Vancouver is getting more and more beautiful and I need to flip burgers to keep myself afloat. I’ve scoured the area and this is a list of places which I will be gracing with a copy of my resume tomorrow (they are all basically around the corner from my apartment),
* mondo gelato (though I might eat more than serve) * cupcakes (yes, it is a store that sells ONLY CUPCAKES and the uniform is a cute t’shirt that says ‘I love cupcakes’ and a cute cupcake under it…) * italien café thingy… basically barista and cake serving. * shoppers drug mart (though I might spend entire paycheques on copious amounts of lipgloss…oh I forgot to put that on my list of things that make me happy…FRUITY LIPGLOSS) * Starbucks (yes, I did work there for 2 years already..yes, they are a megelo-american corporation…blah blah blah…working there were amongst the best years of my life and I could have better health benefits than at my day job, no joke…oh and free coffee!) * Steamrollers, yes…I think it would be really funny to work the crappiest of crap crap jobs making burritos for a living. I think it would be funny and I could pick up men who like burritos with my cool uniform which includes a white paper hat.. *cough* * Safeway… though I think this one might drive me mad
Literally, the first to call with a job offer will be my lovely second job. Let fate dictate what my crap-tastic second job will be!!!
